Accelerated Reader / FLIP OVER READING!!!
At St. Simons Elementary, our FlipR Program encourages students to become confident, independent readers while celebrating their reading accomplishments! Students choose books that interest them, read independently, and then take Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes to show their understanding. As they successfully complete quizzes, students earn AR points and add to their total word count throughout the school year.
Students can take AR quizzes at school or at home between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. At home, simply visit our school website and access Accelerated Reader from the School Resources / Students tab. Students will log in using their PIN number and 6-digit birthday (no gcbe).

We encourage families to help students make reading part of their everyday routine. Every book, every quiz, and every word counts!
