Upcoming Events at SSE

October is a busy month at SSE!  Please mark your calendars for these upcoming events!

TOMORROW, October 9th- we will have Coffee with the Media Specialist at 8am in the SSE library.  We hope that you can join us as Mrs. Gregory, our media specialist, shares information about our Accelerated Reader program, current reading challenges and incentives and Parent ProTech, a useful platform for helping to kids safe while online.  Please check in with the front office when you arrive and have your ID available.

Our next Walk the Beach to School will be Friday, October 16th.  Meet at the SSI Pier at 7am.  We walk at 7:15am.  All students must be accompanied by an adult.  No drop offs please.  Rain cancels the event.  We hope that you can join us as we enjoy the best view in all the land as we walk to school!

On Monday, October 19th at 8am we will have Coffee with the Behavior Intervention Specialists.  We hope that you can join us as we share information and ideas on how to build independence and confidence, create consistent routines at home, ease stressful situations and support positive behaviors.

Also on Monday, October 19th we will have our ESOL Family Night at 5:30pm at Glynn Middle School.  We hope that all of our ESOL families can join us as we share information about our English as a second language program at SSE.  Interpreters will be present.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions.
