The Glynn County Board of Education unanimously approved a change to the 2024-2025 academic calendar during the October Work Session. Due to school closures caused by Hurricane Helene, Tuesday, Nov. 5 (Election Day) will now be an instructional day for students instead of a teacher workday.
This adjustment results in 89 instructional days in the first semester and 90 in the second semester. Fall break remains scheduled for Friday, October 11, and Monday, October 14.
