Welcome Back!
I am looking forward to building a better SSE with you and your child this school year. My name is Susanne Jackson and I am the school based Speech Language Pathologist at St. Simons Elementary. I have been a speech-language pathologist for twenty-four years and have worked in various settings. I continue to attend lectures and trainings to provide the latest evidence-based practices to support learning. I am very eager to work with you and your child and look forward to our collaboration.

During the school year, I will provide various activities for your child to complete with you in order to practice good speech and language skills. Please complete these activities with your child. For every five activities completed and returned, your child will have a choice item from the treasure box. Speech homework helps you know what your child has been working on and reinforces these skills outside of the educational setting. This is very important for carryover of learned skills.

We will have a formal meeting at least once during the school year to discuss your child’s progress, but please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns. Email is generally the quickest way to contact me. My school email address is [email protected]. You may also contact me at the school’s number (912) 638-2851, EXT 2307. I am looking forward to building a sound education for your child and I know you are as well.
Warm Regards,
Susanne Jackson
